My New FAVE Summer Drink

Have you tried any new drinks lately? I don’t drink much of anything other than water, so when I do have a tasty adult beverage my go to is a glass of Pinot Grigio, a classic margarita (I live in the southwest, so of course) or a rum mixed with Diet Coke.

I stopped drinking mostly in 2016, because I finally got pregnant and since then (when I haven’t been pregnant or nursing of course) I just don’t want to drink much, dealing with 3 kids all the time isn’t worth the hangover and irritation. The other night, that feeling flew out the window and I was wanting something tasty but low in calories to celebrate the 4th of July.

While out with my husband, he picked up a new beer to try so I thought I would try something new, I picked up a Sparkling Seltzer. Coming in at 90 calories, 4.5% Alcohol, the Bon & Viv were my first choice. Plus their flavors reminded me most of the ultimate basic babe drink, La Croix! Since I LOVE water, this has to be good, right?

The can is super cute, slim and the spiked seltzer is delicious! I’ve tried all the flavors from the variety box and my absolute favorite is the Clementine Hibiscus, followed by the Pear Elderberry flavor, then cranberry and grapefruit.

They are refreshing on a hot summer day, especially with temps over 100 degrees here. They don’t make me bloated like other “spiked” drinks and are easy on the budget. You need to pick a case up, relax with a drink in your hand and not feel guilty for sipping a 90 calorie delicious spiked seltzer.

❤️, K
