Simple Projects

Valentine Shirts with my Cricut

I recently purchased a Cricut Explore Air 2, after wanting one for over a year. I love it, it’s so pretty and practical! 🥰

I loved the idea of creating unique shirts, cards and signs for my family with the use of the Cricut.

My first project was creating Valentine shirts for two little girls. ❤️

I purchased tee shirts at Michael’s craft store on sale as well as red iron on vinyl, which was also on sale for BOGO.

I was able to create the designs on the Cricut app on my phone and then print those out via bluetooth connection on the Cricut. I chose just red vinyl for my creations which was easy to load and unload on the sticky mat provided by Cricut in my bundle. Once that was created, I cut them out and applied them to the shirts, ironed them on (I don’t have a press at the moment but it’s on my list) and it was that simple!

Valentine shirts by yours truly!

I think they came out really well and simple designs helped make it easy. With this being my first time using the Cricut iron on vinyl, I’m impressed and I can make such cute things so easily.

Have you used a Cricut?

❤️, Kristi
